- A Google account
Step by step
- 01
Grab your GA4 Measurement ID
In Google Analytics, Admin → Data Streams → Web → copy the G-XXXXXXX ID.

Paste into Squarespace
Settings → Marketing → External Services. Paste the ID under Google Analytics.

Verify in Search Console
In Search Console, add a property using the URL prefix method. Pick HTML tag verification and copy the meta tag.

Add the meta tag
Squarespace → Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Header. Paste the meta tag and save.

Submit your sitemap
Back in Search Console, Sitemaps → submit yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.
