Connect a custom domain to Shopify
Point a domain bought at Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Cloudflare to your Shopify store.

Step by step

Settings → Domains → Connect existing
Enter your domain.

Add the A record
@ → 23.227.38.65 (Shopify's IP).
- 03
Add the CNAME
www → shops.myshopify.com.

Verify connection
Click Verify Connection in Shopify. Allow up to 48 hours.

Set as primary
Settings → Domains → Change primary. Enable 'Redirect all traffic'.
